Dallas Scott Davey Ltd (DSD) opened its doors in Lincolnshire at the end of 2021. Experienced insurance professionals, Ed Davey, and Darren Scott, who have 45 years combined industry experience, are both shareholders in the business.

DSD has access to specialist agricultural and business insurance products and also specialises in arranging insurance to the health and care sector.

DSD operates from Plowright House, which is the University of Lincoln’s former agricultural campus within its Riseholme Estate. Expanding into new premises within the University of Lincoln’s former agricultural campus, which is now home to a wide range of businesses at the forefront of the farming industry, is the perfect address for a specialist agricultural insurance broker.

DSD has a growing team and has quickly established a strong client base across the UK, with its core business being in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

Ed and Darren pride themselves on offering a friendly, local service with excellent customer care. Commercial insurance specialists, with particular expertise in farming and property ownership.

DSD has appointed Toby Baker as part of its strategic growth and ongoing specialisation in estates and farm insurance. Toby, a highly experienced rural risks insurance broker, is heading up the company’s expansion into Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties.

Toby lives in Pilton, Northamptonshire, and joins DSD following a long and successful career at Lycetts. His focus is on serving farming and estate clients across Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Warwickshire, and beyond. As part of DSD’s expansion strategy, the company also plans to establish a satellite office within a livestock mart, providing a local physical presence to better serve clients in the region.

Toby’s wealth of experience in farm and estate insurance makes him a fantastic addition to the team. His deep understanding of rural risks and his commitment to outstanding client service will be instrumental in strengthening the firm’s presence beyond its Lincolnshire heartland.

With an ongoing partnership with Lincoln City Football Club, DSD has now also recently partnered with the Lincolnshire Care Association, providing its members with a range of insurance and risk management services.
